Orchid Drive Residence
Project Overview
A stone's throw away from the renowned "Vista Del Mar" community in West Bay and adjacent to Stone Island is Orchid Drive - the home of a dated four-bedroom dwelling with detached garage and studio. When completed, it will become a 6-bedroom home with modern facilities.
Risk and Constraints
The revamped structure required joining the detached garage and studio to the main house while adding new rooms and external balconies. All work took place while the client fully occupied the building, requiring careful coordination.
Strategy & Implementation
The renovation saw the inclusion of studio-grade Kinetics soundproofing, new marmorean finishes, impact-rated exterior windows and doors. For the interior, new kitchen and millworks by KW Woodwork. Significant work was also done to the electrics, updating a 200 amp system to 300 amps.
Achievements
The entire exterior received a facelift while maintaining continuous occupancy for the client. Expected completion August 2026.
